Turkey's stainless steel coil imports decreased

Turkey imported approximately 48,000 tons of stainless steel coils in November, down 22 percent year on year due to the drop in demand.

During this period, Turkey imported approximately 22,000 tons of stainless steel from China, down 17 percent year on year.

In the first ten months of 2022, Turkey imported approximately 340 thousand tons, an increase of 50% compared to the same period of the previous year. Indonesia was the main supplier with approximately 10,000 tons, up 16% year-on-year, followed by South Korea with 4,300 tons, down 54% year-on-year.
