Scrap prices have been showing signs of recovery in the last two weeks, albeit step by step.
With the economic and political developments in Turkey, the dollar exchange rate has increased by 7.5% since 15 May. The rapid depreciation of the Turkish lira has also caused corrections in prices.
Last week, on Friday, Baştuğ Metalurji increased the price of Bonus and İmalat scrap, while on Saturday, İsdemir increased its scrap purchase list by 200TL.

Again, according to the information received this morning, it was heard that one of the two factories in Izmir increased by 130tl and the other by 200tl.
Offers increased in imported scrap prices
Following last week's import scrap purchases from Europe in the $375-386 range, US scrap suppliers increased their new offers to $390 this week.
