Turkey's rebar prices remain strong against rising exchange rates

Turkish rebar prices continue to resist the rising dollar exchange rate. Rebar prices in the Iskenderun region, which dropped to $636 as the base price about two weeks ago, have not fallen below $640 in the last week, struggling against the rising exchange rate.

The rise in the dollar is expected to continue in parallel with Turkey's political and economic changes, while dollar-based prices are expected to decline unless demand gains momentum.

Current spot rebar prices evaluated by www.steelradar.com are as follows;

Istanbul rebar prices 18,100 TL (+200) / $657 (+2)

Izmir rebar prices 17,900 TL (+200) / 649$ (+1)

Karabuk rebar prices 17,800 TL (+100) / $646 (-2)

Payas rebar prices 17.800 TL (+1000) / 646$ (+6)

Differences in thick and thin products of factories have changed
