Turkey's pig iron imports increased

In October, Turkey's pig iron imports amounted to approximately 68,000 tons, down 39 percent month on month and up 8% year on year. In the first ten months, imports increased by 26.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 1.2 million tons.

Among them, imports from Russia in October amounted to about 54,000 tons, down 28.5% month on month and up 16.5% year on year. In addition, Ukraine exported pig iron to Turkey with approximately 12,000 tons, down 27.7 percent year on year.
