Turkey's imported scrap prices started to decline in the second half of April. Turkish steel demand rose sharply in March due to the Russia-Ukraine war. At the beginning of April, the problems started to be resolved with moderate negotiations. And steel demand began to slow down. Local product prices fell. Turkish steelmakers, who paused their purchases after import scrap prices of up to $653, expect scrap prices to decrease.
