Bangladesh, UK and USA are booking deep sea scrap cargoes at lower prices.
According to the information received on Thursday, June 2nd, deep sea ferrous scrap cargoes were concluded from Bangladesh last week, despite the ongoing problems caused by the dollar exchange rate in the country.
Bangladesh restarted bulk cargo orders at lower prices. Scrap prices in Taiwan remained stable due to weak demand, while China's steel scrap import prices fell. The scrap market maintains its calm course. Turkish short sea scrap prices have dropped below $400.
According to unconfirmed information, Turkish producers Sıddık Kardeşler / Romania booked 80/20 offshore cargo at Cif $375.
