This year's awards were determined by a three-person expert jury consisting of Giorgio Guidi, Artistic Director of Made in Steel, Marco Citterio, former General Director of Brixia Expo - Fiera di Brescia and Federica Barletta, Director of Ncontemporary Art Gallery. The “Most Intimate Stand” award is given to the exhibitor that gives visitors the most warmth and sense of belonging, and stands out with its open and friendly atmosphere.
Trafilix Industries is a well-established company specializing in the production of cold drawn steel bars, operating as part of the Italy-based Lucefin Group. Founded in 1973 by Luigi Buzzi in the town of Esine in Brescia, the company was reorganized in 2021 under the “Trafilix Industries” brand after merging with Tre Valli Acciai S.p.A. and Trafitec S.r.l. over time.
With an annual production capacity of over 170,000 tons, the company operates with three production facilities and a distribution center and stands out as one of the major players in the European steel industry with 277 employees and an annual turnover of more than 160 million Euros. Trafilix produces round, square, hexagonal and special profiled bars in carbon and stainless steel as well as heat treatment, mechanical testing and quality control services.
