On August 16, flat steel and steel profile producer Tosçelik plans to build a zinc recycling plant with a capacity of 100,000 mt/year, according to a document submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
The plant will be located in Osmaniye, where Tosçelik, a subsidiary of Tosyalı Holding, one of Turkey's largest steel producers, is located.
The plant is expected to be operational within 24 months.
