According to the company statement, ThyssenKrupp reduced its net sales to 98 million euros in the first quarter of the 2022/2023 fiscal year, from 122 million euros in the same period last year. Affected by the decrease in steel prices and the weakening global economy, the company's operating profit decreased by 33% in this period.
Company CEO Klaus Keysberg said in a statement that despite the ongoing uncertainty, the results for the first quarter of 2022/2023 fiscal year for the consortium were stable. The company said in its statement that it maintained its profitability in the first quarter of the 2022/2023 fiscal year.
ThyssenKrupp stated that the volume of orders in the steel sector increased by 22% to 3 billion euros in the first quarter compared to the previous year, while its sales increased by 10% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 2.9 billion euros.
