Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd, one of the largest electric furnace manufacturers in Taiwan, announced that it has decreased the scrap purchase price and the rebar price by NT$300/ton and NT$200/ton this week, reaching NT$12,200/ton and NT$21,300/ton respectively. At the same time, the steel profile price also remained unchanged at NT$27,600/ton.
Feng Hsin said that there were no offers from the US scrap shipment last week. During the same period, the price of Japan's H2 scrap decreased by 1.14% on a weekly basis, and the price of US containerized scrap decreased by 1.15% compared to the previous week. Australia's iron ore prices are up 1.65% on the week.
