Taiwan's domestic scrap prices have increased to October levels.
Scrap prices, which were around $350-360 in October, dropped to $320-330 in the first week of November.
Scrap prices, which started to rise on November 30, rose to $370 levels in the last week of December.
Due to the decrease in scrap prices in the first week of November, there was a decrease in rebar prices as well.
As the upward trend in the international scrap market is still high, one of Taiwan's largest producers, Feng Hsin Steel, increased its scrap prices at the beginning of the week.
