The Russian steel market displayed diverging trends during the week of 15-19 June. While the flat steel segment continued to benefit from strong domestic demand, tight supply, and active buying from Iran, the billet market faced growing pressure from weaker demand in Türkiye and increasing competition from Asian suppliers.
