Export prices of Russian hot-rolled coils (FOB Black Sea) increased by 10% to $660/t between January 16 and 20, 2023, while the prices of Russian export plates increased by 11% to $602/t.
Last week, contracts were signed for the supply of Russian flooring to Turkey, Europe and North America, while a week ago the flooring was sold to China and North America. This situation led to the lack of flooring on the market at a competitive price, while acquiring the Russian slab became a good chance.
