Price differentials for thick and thin rebar used in the construction industry in Türkiye have been revised in line with current developments in the sector. These changes in rebar prices are closely followed by suppliers and customers in the industry.
İÇDAŞ updated the price differences as of March 11th, 2024 as follows:
- 8mm deformed rebar difference: 1000 TL/ton
- 10mm deformed rebardifference: 800 TL/ton
- Special size deformed rebar difference: 800 TL/ton
- B500C quality difference: 600 TL/ton
- 36-40mm deformed rebar diameter difference: 600 TL/ton
- 5.5 mm diameter difference - 400 TL/ton
- 1006 DQ quality difference - 400 TL/ton
- 1006 DQ plus difference - 600 TL/ton
- 1008 DQ plus difference - 600 TL/ton
- 2nd quality wire rod difference - (-400 TL/ton)
On the other hand, according to the statement made by Kroman Çelik Sanayi A.Ş., there have also been changes in the prices of thin products in the new deals. According to this price,
- 1300 TL+VAT or 40 USD+VAT for 8 mm,
- For 10 mm, it has been updated as 960 TL+VAT or 30 USD+VAT.
According to the statement made by Yazıcı Demir Çelik, thin product prices for new deals have been updated as 1200 TL for 8mm and 1000 TL for 10mm.
Çolakoğlu announced that it has revised only the 8 mm prices for new orders that will be valid as of 08.03.2024. Accordingly, the price for 8 mm has been updated to 40 USD or 1500 TL, while other price extras will remain the same.
- 8 mm: 1500 TL / 40 USD
- 10 mm: 1000 TL / 30 USD
- Special Size Extra: 1000 TL / 30 USD
- 36mm & 40mm Price extra: 1000 TL / 30 USD
- B500B & B 500C Price extra: 1000 TL / 30 USD
In addition, according to the statement made by Yeşilyurt, for the deals to be made as of March 11, 2024, the thin rebar price differences will be updated as follows:
- +1100 TL for 10 mm
- +1500 TL for 8 mm
