Norsk Hydro announced that it has completed the acquisition of Hueck

Norsk Hydro announced that it has completed the acquisition of Hueck on February 28, following approval from competition authorities in Germany and Austria. With this acquisition, Norsk Hydro will strengthen its sectoral position in Germany, which represent the largest market in Europe for building systems, and other European markets.  Norsk Hydro, which will have five extrusion plants, three recycling plants and 2,000 employees in Germany after the acquisition, will also have a platform to further develop its extrusion and construction systems. Announcing NOK 1.9 billion growth investment in 2022, Hydro Extrusions is one of Hydro's strategic growth areas.
