According to the international agreement published in the Official Gazette, the amendments made to the sectoral agreement governing the management and implementation of the program carried out within the framework of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) were formally approved.

Under the decision, the regulation foreseeing amendments to the agreement that sets out the principles for the management and implementation of financial assistance provided in the field of agriculture and rural development policies between the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union was approved. The amendment was confirmed through an exchange of letters between the Government of Türkiye and the European Commission on 6 August 2025 and 19 September 2025.

It was stated that the decision was adopted in accordance with Article 5 of Law No. 244 and the relevant provisions of Presidential Decree No. 9.

The regulation, published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, introduces changes to the existing framework governing the management and implementation of EU financial assistance provided to Türkiye under the IPARD III program, thereby updating the program’s implementation principles for the new period.
