According to data for June 18, the price of 62% Fe iron ore in China decreased by 2.00 USD, or 1.87%, to USD 107.00, compared to USD 109.00 recorded on June 17.
Similarly, the price of 61% Fe iron ore in South Korea decreased by 2.00 USD, or 2.02%, to USD 99.00 on June 18, down from USD 101.00 on June 17. Despite this downward trend, prices in other Far Eastern spot markets remained unchanged, continuing the stable movement observed the previous day.
In Indonesia and Vietnam, 62% Fe iron ore prices remained at USD 101.00 on June 18, unchanged from the previous day.
In Japan, iron ore prices also remained stable at USD 101.00, maintaining the same level recorded on June 17.
