According to the data released by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), industrial production in Germany increased by 0.6% month on month in September, after falling 1.2% in August.
Although this increase occurred despite the rise in energy prices and the problem in supply chains, this situation caused problems in completing the orders.
Contrary to the 0.6% increase seen in the German industry, according to Destatis data, there was a 0.9% monthly decrease in production in sectors that require high energy and raw material use, such as the chemical industry.
While it is seen that the increase in energy prices has an impact on industries, the aid packages worth 95 billion euros offered by the German Government are trying to alleviate these effects.
While the government's projection points to a 0.4% economic contraction in 2023, analysts point out that stagnation awaits Germany in the next year.
