The order will be met with multiple deliveries from July to the end of August. This order will be the largest ever received by Hoa Phat.
The steel is produced at the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Complex in central Quang Ngai province.
Hoa Phat Group has been experiencing increases in steel exports in recent years. The company shipped approximately 195,000 tons of steel billets abroad in 2019, of which 97.4% was made to China.
Last year, Hangzhou CIEC Group ordered more than 100,000 tons of steel billets from Hoa Phat.
