Vietnam's Hoa Phat Iron & Steel produced 416,000 tons of crude steel in February, down 39.9% y-o-y. In addition, steel pipe production decreased by 30.7% annually to 54,000 tons, galvanized products by 27,000 tons, rebar products, billets and hot coil sales volume decreased by 32.9% annually to 475,000 tons.
From January to February, Vietnam's Hoa Phat Iron & Steel's crude steel production decreased 42 percent to 809,000 tons, steel pipe production decreased to 107,000 tons, galvanized steel production decreased to 48,000 tons, while sales of rebar products, billets and HRC were 877,000 tons, down 34 percent year on year.
