According to the Vietnam Customs General Directorate, 302.6 thousand tons of scrap were imported into the country in November this year, down 16.9% m-o-m.
The main countries supplying scrap to Vietnam in November 2022 were the USA, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In total, during the 11 months of 2022 Vietnam imported 3.96 million tons of scrap, down 31.4% y-o-y.
In the main countries supplying scrap to Vietnam in January-November 2022, Japan ranked first with 1.238 million tons.
