Chinese Q195 grade HRC was reported to have reached $545/t cfr Vietnam.
Offers for commercial grade Q195, Q235 or SS400 HRC up to 3mm thick are currently at $550-555/t cfr. However, offers for Q235 and SS400 grades are at $530-535/t cfr.
Earlier, some deals for Q235/SS400/Q195 grade HRC from China were made as low as $520-525/t cfr early in the week to 2 June, just before the recovery in the Chinese futures market.
Trade sources reported earlier in the week that SAE 1006 grade HRC from Japan and Taiwan, as well as those from India, were booked at $570/t cfr for Vietnam in late May.
HRC of SAE grade 2-2.7mm thickness was assessed at $575-580/t cfr Vietnam, up $5 per week.
