Vale's iron ore exports rise in August

Vale's iron ore exports in August amounted to 23.5 million tons, up 4% on a monthly basis and down by 2% on an annual basis. In the January-August period, total exports amounted to approximately 148 million tons.

Sales volume increased by 7.7% m-o-m

In August this year, Vale's domestic iron ore sales volumes amounted to around 2 million tons, up by 7.7% m/m and down by 10% y-o-y. Total domestic sales in the first eight months of this year reached nearly 17 million tons.
