The company's steel shipments for the full year 2022 amounted to 14.94 tons, while its total annual earnings amounted to USD 2.5 billion, a decrease of 40%. YoY sales revenue increased by 3.9% to USD 21 billion.
US Steel's steel shipments decreased by 10% YoY in the fourth quarter of last year to 3.37 million short tonnes. The company's sales revenue for the fourth quarter of the year was $4.34 billion, down by 23% YoY and net income was $174 million, down by 84%.
