US steel coil imports rise in October

In October this year, US imports of steel coil increased by 26% on a monthly basis and by 5.4% on an annual basis to around 109,400 tons.

Imports from Canada totaled about 54,000 tons, South Korea about 15,000 tons, Germany about 11,200 tons and the Netherlands about 9,900 tons.

The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 91 million.
