US scrap prices rose
HMS1 scrap prices, which closed the week at $380 last Friday, increased to $385 in the new week.

US pig iron and flat steel prices were unchanged
The US pig iron price started the new week at $505, hot rolled coil (HRC) at $1,172.00 and cold rolled coil (CRC) at $1,317.00, remaining stable.
Brazilian slab and pig iron prices remain stable
Brazil's slab and pig iron prices were revised down to $770 and $480, respectively.
Australia's coking coal prices increased
Australian coking coal prices rose from $227 to $230 in the new week.
