US’ rebar exports decrease in July

According to the US Department of Commerce, the US exported around 18,400 tons of rebar in July 2022, decreasing by 28.4% compared to the previous month and also dropping by 27.5% from the same month a year ago.

The exports to Canada held the largest proportion with 15,200 tons, a m-o-m decrease of 35.8% and a y-o-y drop of 18.9%. 

The value of these exports totaled around US$21 million, down by 26.7% m-o-m and by 13.6% y-o-y.
