According to the data retrieved from the US Department of Commerce, US coil exports reached 28,190 tons in December 2023, up by 0.7% from November and increased by 32.4% compared to the same month last year.
In terms of value, exports of coils amounted to $29.4 million.
Mexico had the largest share of exports
The US coil exports to Mexico in December were recorded as 21,808 tons experiencing an increase compared to 18,745 tons in the previous month and 8,796 tons in the same month last year. Among the other main export destinations is Canada with 6,066 tons.
