Türkiye's rebar imports decreased by 57.5% in February

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), rebar imports of Türkiye decreased by 57.5% on an annual basis in February 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year, from 10,749 tons to 4,570 tons. It decreased by 60% compared to the previous month.

January-February 2024 total rebar imports decreased by 45.9% compared to the same period of the previous year, from 29,589 tons to 16,007 tons.

The country that Türkiye imported most rebar in February was Iran with a decrease of 25.5%, followed by Germany with an increase of 145.5%. Countries that imported in the same month last year did not record any imports this year.
