According to the information compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, long product consumption, which was 1,010 tons in September 2022, increased by 28.12% to 1,295 tons in the same month of this year. It decreased by 4.85% compared to the previous month.
29.42% increase in 9 months
When we look at the total consumption figures for the January-September period of 2022-2023, the total consumption figure, which was 10,904 last year, increased by 29.42% in the 9-month period of 2023, reaching 14,111 tons.
Total consumption is 14,867 tons in 2023
During the same period, flat product consumption also recorded a notable increase. Flat product consumption, which was 1,189 tons in September 2022, increased by 32.05% in the same month of this year and by 5.16% compared to the previous month, reaching 1,570 tons.
When we look at the total flat product consumption figures for the January-September period of 2022 -2023, the total consumption figure, which was 13,539 tons in 2022, increased by 9.81% to 14,867 tons in the January-September period of 2023.
