Türkiye's HRC imports increased by 5.6% in June

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's HRC imports in June increased by 5.6% y/y to 288,533 tons from 283,364 tons in the same month of the previous year. It decreased by 43.8% compared to the previous month, May.

Total HRC imports in January-June period decreased by 18.3% from 2 million 35 thousand 568 tons to 1 million 866 thousand 952 tons.

During the month in question, China, Russia, and Egypt ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's HRC imports. HRC imports from China amounted to 103,614 tons, followed by Russia with 63,361 tons, Egypt with 49,293 tons, South Korea with 35,322 tons and Japan with 26,914 tons.
