The Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey has re-investigated steel plates imported from China.
In 2017, an anti-dumping tax of 16.89-22.55% was imposed on the supply of these products. Regarding the dumping policy, Erdemir applied to the Ministry with a proposal to extend the validity period for another five years.
The restrictions cover a wide range of hot rolled or forged carbon and alloy steel plates from 15mm thick to 3600mm wide.
