Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Prof. Kamel Rezik, together with Oran Governor Ibrahim Ouchan, paid an official visit to the Tosyali Algeria Industrial Complex. During the visit, Minister Rezik inspected the launch of the complex’s first export operations for 2026 on site.
The export operation consisted of shipments totaling 22,000 tons of steel products primarily hot-rolled coils transported by four vessels from the ports of Arzew and Oran to Poland, Lithuania, Italy, and Tunisia. The financial return from this first export batch is projected at USD 13.5 million.
Speaking during the visit, Minister Rezik emphasized the need to complete the ongoing expansion projects at the Tosyali Algeria complex as soon as possible. He also stated that he would like to return to the facility to personally oversee the export of cold-rolled sheets once the new units are commissioned.
