They create a large service network by selling the steel billets, sponge iron and all the iron and steel products they produce in their steel mills with their own commercial companies.
Sponge Iron investments continue at full speed
Tosan Mosaveran Espadana company, which is among the factories and companies within Tosan Holding, operates as a sponge iron producer with a monthly capacity of 30 KT until June 2022.
They continue their work at full speed with a working capital of 4 million USD and an additional 6 million USD investment to increase the capacity. The annual sales amount of the factory is known to be about 80 to 100 million USD.
The products produced in this company include soft pellets, soft sponge iron, cold briquettes, sponge iron mud, flat and ribbed rebar, coils and profile types.
They produce 150 000Mt Billets
Tosan Group of Companies meets the needs of 50 000 Mt of iron products on a monthly basis with the cooperation it has made.
Tosan Group of Companies, together with Hadid Puyan Tosan Samangan Company, produces 150 000Mt of steel billets, 150.12 and 125.12 size billets annually.
In other companies, they operate on Ferrosilicon, Ferromolybdenum and Rhenium alloys, respectively.
Ferrosilicon
They operate on Ferrosilicon , an alloy of iron and silicon produced by heating, reducing and melting iron and silica ores with carbon, particularly in arc furnaces . It is worth noting that Tusan Tejarat Company is a private supplier of ferrosilicon.
Ferromolybdenum
Ferromolybdenum alloy contains 60 to 70 wt% molybdenum produced by melting molybdenum oxide, aluminum and iron and other additives. This material is mostly used in the production of alloy steels. It is also used in the manufacture of machine parts, military industry and drill bits, high temperature stainless steels used in chemical environments, generators and turbines.
Rhenium
Rhenium is a metal with very high strength, good ductility and cold working properties.
It is a material used in many high temperature applications. More than 80% of global rhenium use is in high-temperature superalloys for aircraft applications such as turbine blades and engine parts.
