According to the research conducted by SteelRadar from the UK official institutions, the current status of EU quotas has been determined. The UK, which is included in the EU Steel quotas with 17 products, continues to fill the quota.
High tonnage quotas included in HRC and CRC
While 330,515/t was announced along with the quota transferred from the last period of last year for HRC (hot rolled coil), 36,520/t of it was used.
While a quota of 145,613/t was announced for CRC (cold rolled coil), 32,596/t of it was used.
One of the highest quotas announced was wire rod
A quota of 394,480 /t was announced in the wire rod along with the quota transferred from the last quarter of 2022. In the first quarter of 2023, it was recorded that 335,727/t quota remained, using 58,753/t of this.
The profile group also attracted attention with their tonnage
Commercial Rod and Light Section Profile (Alloy-Non-alloy) were also announced, along with the quota transferred from the last quarter of last year, 275,111/t. So far, 32,679/t of this has been used.
Stainless Bar and Light Section Profile 6.528/t quota was announced and 2.037/t was used.
A quota of 83.235/t was announced for Hollow Profiles. Using 29.505/t, the remaining quota of 53.730/t was recorded.
Other product groups were as follows;
A quota of 56,869/t was announced for 4A Metallic Coated Sheets. 18.559 /t was used. The remaining quota amount was recorded as 38.310/t.
A quota of 48.235 /t was announced for 4B Metallic Coated Sheets. Using 32.309/t u, the remaining quota amount was 15.926/t.
A quota of 80.123/t was announced for Organic Coated Sheets. Only 6,350/t was used.
The quota of 2.451/t for Stainless HR Quarto Sheet has been announced. Only 6/t of this was used.
