According to the latest information, the number of injured due to earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş was 62 thousand 937 people.

According to the latest reported figures, 12 thousand 873 people lost their lives due to earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş. The number of injured was 62 thousand 937 people.

Vice President Fuat Oktay said on Wednesday evening that 103,800 officials are actually working in the areas affected by the earthquakes.

Oktay stated that the number of those who have been pulled out from under the debris so far is not below 20 thousand.

Speaking in Hatay, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements such as "The day is a test day for us, we will get through this" and "It is not possible to be prepared for such a great disaster". Erdogan said, "We will remove the ruins caused by the disaster by standing shoulder to shoulder with the state and nation, and we will not leave any of our citizens unattended."

According to AFAD's determinations, more than a thousand aftershocks have occurred since 6 February.
