Iron prices in Turkish iron and steel factories were announced today with a +20$ increase compared to last week's closing. The material shortage continues in the markets. Although local demand is not high, iron prices continue to increase. The highest price increase was experienced in İzmir, with increases ranging from 50 to 180 TL depending on the regions.
The traded rebar prices we publish on a daily basis are as follows;
Istanbul iron prices increased by 50 TL to 7.450 TL.
İzmir iron prices increased by 180 TL to 7.480 TL.
Karabük iron prices increased by 150 TL to 7.450 TL.
Payas iron prices increased by 100 TL and were announced as 7,400 TL.
