Thailand's billet import and export affected by the COVID-19 outbreak

According to statistics, in the first 11 months of 2021, Thailand's billet exports rose 387.8 percent year on year to 377,700 tons, while imports fell 25.3 percent year on year to 949,600 tons. The decrease was mainly due to the interference caused by the prevention and control measures of the COVID-19 epidemic, which caused the local steel market to weaken.
