The President's decision on the amendment of the import regime decision was published in today's issue of the Official Gazette. With the decision, a footnote was added to the table on these imports that the customs duty would be applied as zero on imports within this scope until July 31.
The decisions of the President of the Republic on the subject were published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
Accordingly, it was decided to apply customs duty and additional customs duty as zero percent until July 31 (including this date) on container imports.
Following the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes, container purchases were intensified to meet the shelter needs of earthquake victims.
The provisions of the decisions will be carried out by the Ministry of Commerce.
On the other hand, the Ministry's Communiqué on the Amendment of the General Communiqué on Customs was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
With the communiqué, the update was made in parallel with the work carried out in the European Commission.
