Taiwan's scrap imports increase in October

According to statistics from Taiwan Customs, Taiwan's scrap imports in October this year increased by 9% compared to the previous month to 236,700 tons.

Among these, the top three import sources were roughly the USA 102,600 tons, Japan 35,900 tons and Australia 19,400 tons with a separate volume.

During this period, the average import price of US scrap traded US$3/ton higher than in September.
