Feng Hsin reported that there were no offers for scrap shipments from the United States last week.
During the same period, Japan's H2 scrap price decreased by 1.3% weekly to 378 USD/ton, and the price of scrap transported by containers in the United States also fell by 1.3% weekly to 370 USD/ton. Additionally, Australia's iron ore price saw a weekly decrease of 0.8%.
The decrease in Feng Hsin's scrap purchase price and the decline in rebar price indicate weakening steel demand in Taiwan. The decline in international scrap prices further supports this trend.
