Taiwan-based Feng Hsin Steel Co. Ltd, which is mainly engaged in the production, processing and trading of steel products, announced this week's product prices. Rebar, scrap and steel profile prices were kept unchanged at NT$19,400/ton, NT$10,700/ton and NT$26,800/ton, respectively.
Last week, Feng Hsin said that the US has not received any offers for scrap shipments. Meanwhile, prices for Japan's H2 scrap and US containerised scrap were steady at NT$370/ton and NT$365/ton, respectively. Australian iron ore prices decreased by 4.8% on a weekly basis.
