Taiwan's billet imports increased

According to statistics, Taiwan's billet imports amounted to around 223,000 tonnes in April, up 6.9% from the previous month.

Among them, imports from Russia accounted for the largest share of over 60%, up 12.6% m-o-m to around 141,000 tonnes. The average import price was also the lowest among all import sources.

Taiwan's billet imports increased every month from January to April, while imports from Russia, the largest supplier, also increased every month.
