Russian imports of stainless cold-rolled steel decreased by 5%, stainless hot-rolled steel by 21.6%, stainless steel by 25.3%, stainless welded pipes and stainless wire rod decreased by 22.4% and 29.9%, respectively. On the other hand, stainless steel seamless pipe production rose 38.4% mom.
In June, China was accounted for 55.9% of total supplies, and it was the main supplier of stainless steel products to Russia. China was followed by India with 34%, Indonesia with 3.4% and Turkey with 2.5%.
