South Korea, Seoul-based steel company Dongkuk Steel has announced its third quarter production.
Rebar and section bar production decreased by 3.8 percent year on year to around 858,000 tons, while cold rolled products amounted to 327,000 tons, down 17.2 year-on-year. Steel plate production reached 182,000 tons, up 4% year on year.
Dongkuk Steel stated that the decrease in rebar and section production was due to the decrease in sales to the construction industry.
