Short-time working payment applied in the earthquake zone has been extended

The duration of the short-time working allowance for workplaces damaged by the earthquakes centred in Kahramanmaraş has been extended.

The decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was published in the Official Gazette today.

Accordingly, the duration of the short-time working allowance for workplaces that applied for short-time working on or before 8 May has been extended until 7 August without the need for a new eligibility determination.

Workplaces that want to benefit from the support will have to apply again. The support will be provided for the same workers benefiting from short-time working and provided that the same conditions are not exceeded.
