China's Shagang Steel increased its construction steel prices early on October 21. Rebar prices were increased by RMB 100/ton, while prices of rebar in coil and wire rod were increased by RMB 150/ton. Fresh offers:
Rebar (16-25mm): RMB 6,150/t ($955)
Wire rod (6-10 mm): RMB 6,260/ton ($972)
Coiled rebar (8-10 mm): RMB 6,350/ton ($986)
All prices are ex-factory, valid from 11 October.
