Hyundai Steel cuts prices by 1,000 Yen/ton
Hyundai Steel reported that it lowered its prices by ¥1,000/ton ($7/t) for all grades as of April 20. The company further reduced its offer prices for Japanese scrap.
The company's offers on April 27 stood at JPY47,800/t ($58/t) and JPY48,300/t for H1/H2 grade.
Tokyo Steel has set its prices for H2 grade scrap at JPY49,000/t.
Tokyo Steel reported that it lowered its offer price for H2 grade scrap to ¥49,000/t this week, effective April 26.
Feng Hsin Steel to cut domestic scrap purchase prices by TWD 600/t ($19.5/t)
Taiwan's Feng Hsin Steel announced that it will reduce its domestic scrap purchase prices by TWD 600/t ($19.5/t) effective April 28.
The company's Taichung-based plant will pay TWD 11,200/t for Taiwanese HMS 1 grade scrap.
