Scrap inventories of South Korean steelmakers are stable

As of November 21, 2022, producers in South Korea, one of the world's leading scrap buyers, have 1,014 mnt of scrap. The stocks of steelmakers in the central region amounted to 599,000 tons, up 19,000 tons compared to the previous week.

POSCO: Most steelmakers recorded an increase of less than 5,000 tons.

Hyundai Steel: Stocks did not change compared to last week.

Daehan Steel and Dongkuk Steel: Sales increased 6% for Daehan Steel and 6% for Dongkuk Steel.
