Scrap exports from Russia to Belarus reached a record level

In June, the volume of railway shipments of scrap from Russia to Belarus amounted to 73 thousand tons. This number is 18% lower than in the previous month, however, compared to the same period last year, volumes increased 5 times.

If we consider the data for the entire period from January to June, then the total export volume reached 552 thousand tons. This is a significant increase of 2.5 times compared to the level of the previous year.
